Shades of Grey, Game of Thrones, Hunger Games which or all should be made into Book Bouquet's?

The hottest books around are also either movies or soon to be made into movies or tv series!

Shades of Grey is a trilogy that has finally gone from fan fav self published author to getting picked up by a publishing house and being released in the US!  It's so hot hard covers were selling on ebay for thousands of dollars.  We plan to offer the trilogy as a Book Bouquet gift, but wanted to know your thoughts.  Should it include stuff like handcuffs, or keep it simple with items like a book bag and journal?

Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin is also based on a popular book series.  I think this would be a great one for Father's Day!

Hunger Games and the Twilight trilogies are in the works for teen gift giving.

What books are your favorites that you'd like to see in a Book Bouquet gift basket?

  1. Great recommendations and what a fantastic gift idea! As far as what to include, I would include items that are practical that people would use. Anything edible is always good!

  2. Ahh, the Hunger Games. We are obsessed in my house. My 14 years old, 18 year old and my husband all went to see it together as well. Thanks for the recommendations and the gift ideas.

  3. I hated Hunger Games. I was sick to my stomach watching it and couldn't believe this was considered a kid movie. I haven't read the books above but if they are anything like Hunger Games, I guess they will be successful movies. Kids love violence. Sadly.

  4. I don't see handcuffs being a big seller (unless you've got the sort of target market that's into that sort of thing... if you know what I mean).

So I'd stick w/edible handcuffs or go w/the book bags.

    Fun!

  5. I think the handcuffs would be an amusing gag gift in the basket, though I'm guessing more practical gifts would be appreciated.
For other ideas, two of my favorite fiction authors are Barbara Kingsolver and Jodi Picoult.
