January is a great time to be a book lover!


To help you find the perfect book here is a quick review of twenty of our favorites for the new year.

1.  All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doer is one book we are super excited about!  It's a National Book Awardee for Literature.  It's the story about a blind French girl and a German boy whose paths collide in occupied France as both try to survive the devastation of World War II.

2.  Date Night In: More Than 120 Recipes to Nourish Your Relationship by Ashley Rodriguez.  Rekindle the Romance at Home!  Ashley and Gabe Rodriguez were determined not to let their relationship deteriorate into that of "roommates with children," so they instituted a weekly date night where they sauté, roast, mix and dice while reconnecting over simple dishes that you too can create in your own kitchen!

5.  Gray Mountain by John Grisham a legal thriller set in coal mining country.  Grisham's newer books also bring political messages into the story line and this one does as well.  On Amazon people seem to either love it (five star reviews) or hate it (one star reviews). 


6.  Hush by Karen Robards.  In her latest heart-pounding thriller, a woman must uncover a murderer—or risk being the next victim of a vicious killer.

7.  Hope to Die an Alex Cross Thriller by James Patterson. Detective Alex Cross is being stalked by a psychotic genius, forced to play the deadliest game of his career. 

8.  Jeter Unfiltered by Derek Jeter.  The only authorized full-color book commemorating Derek Jeter’s iconic baseball career with the New York Yankees.
