Beloved Characters

Sophie the Giraffe - comes to us from France where she has been a nursery favorite for many years.  Peekaboo Sophie is a 2014 National Parenting Publications Honors Award Winner.  Featuring simple text that encourages parent-child interaction, baby-appropriate touch-and-feel elements, and large appealing flaps for little hands to flip, this volume is a great opportunity to introduce babies to books, and to develop imagination, thinking, and memory skills.

Peter Rabbit Gift Sets
Another classic character we love is Peter Rabbit.  Did you know Peter is over 100 years old!  The beloved story The Tale of Peter Rabbit is such a joy to read with your little one.  You may even remember reading it with your parents when you were young.  Enduring and making memories for generations we love the story of the naughty bunny who can't keep himself out of Mr. McGregor's garden.  We have a Peter Rabbit Gift Set and Gift Box Set for fans of the story.

Since 1902, over 40 million copies of The Tale of Peter Rabbit have been sold worldwide, in more than 35 languages. Recently, it was named the second best-selling children's book of all time by Publishers Weekly.

It's Black and White

Modern Baby Gift Basket
Scientists think black and white high contrast images make more of an impact on baby because their vision is still developing.  Simple shapes and high contrast are easier for baby to see and stimulate their visual development.

Our Modern Baby Books Basket features three high contrast board books.  We have Black and White by Tana Hoban, Look, Look by Peter Linenthal, and Black and White Farm by Charles Reasoner.

Lions and Puppies and Elephants, Oh My! (monkey's too)

We have many themed baby gifts at Book Bouquet because some of our favorites childhood stories feature lovable animals.

Elmer's Colors is all about Elmer the Elephant who is just a little different from all the other elephants in the jungle.  A wonderful story about seeing past differences to find the joy that is inside.

Who doesn't love the sing song "5 Little Monkeys"?  So we turned it into a baby gift to share.  Five Little Monkeys board books all follow the rhyming song we love, and have silly illustrations to bring the story to life.
